1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Sportingo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.

2. What Sportingo is

Sportingo connects athletes with the coaches they already train with, starting with cricket and adding other sports over time. You join a coach through their invite, not through a public directory or listing; Sportingo is not a marketplace for finding or comparing coaches. Once joined, it supports scheduling a session, paying for it, and receiving the coach's feedback afterwards. Sportingo is built and operated by Sparkstream Technologies LLP, referred to here as Sparkstream.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sportingo account. An athlete under 18 trains through a parent or guardian account: the guardian creates the account, gives consent for the athlete's data, and is responsible for it.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Bookings and payments

Session prices are set by the coach you book. Payments run through Razorpay; Sportingo never receives or stores your card or bank details. All amounts are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.

The total you pay is the coach's price plus any platform fee. Where a platform fee applies, it is shown separately from the session price, with the final total, before you pay.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Each coach sets their own cancellation policy for a session, shown to you before you book. Where a cancellation qualifies for a refund under that policy, Razorpay returns it to your original payment method. A payment that behaves unexpectedly, including one that doesn't match the coach's stated policy, should be reported to support so we can resolve it.

6. User conduct

You agree not to use Sportingo to harass, threaten or discriminate against another user, to misrepresent your identity or qualifications, to use the platform for anything unlawful, or to take a booking or payment outside the app to avoid its fees or records. A coach is responsible for the accuracy of the qualifications and availability they list.

7. Feedback and content

Feedback a coach gives an athlete, and the photos, videos or voice notes attached to a session, stay visible to the athlete, their guardian where one applies, and the coach who recorded them, unless we are required to remove something. Do not submit anything through Sportingo that you do not have the right to share.

8. Your data

How we collect, use and retain your personal data, and the rights the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you over it, are set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

Sportingo connects coaches and athletes; it does not employ coaches or supervise sessions directly. To the extent Indian law allows, Sparkstream is not liable for the conduct of a coach or athlete, for an injury occurring during a session, or for a dispute between a coach and an athlete that falls outside the booking and payment Sportingo directly handles.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Sparkstream against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the app.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. An updated version is posted here with a new last updated date; using Sportingo after a change means you accept the update.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Sportingo.
